ReCollector and Unika brought sustainability into household sorting

Tenna Holdorff Christiansen, founder of ReCollector, came up with the idea that there must be a better way to sort household waste at home.

She wanted to create a more beautiful, smarter, and user-friendly waste sorting solution – one that is always within reach yet discreetly hidden behind an elegant design. All without compromising the environment.

With the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals in mind, she partnered with Danish companies that also work according to sustainability principles and the development of ReCollector began.

The invention is entirely Danish, and so is the production. Unika Danmark was chosen to participate in the entire development and manufacturing process of the sorting boxes.

ReCollector is now ready for the Danish and European market and has become a stylish, functional, and lightweight waste sorting system, where sustainability, design, and recyclability have been considered every step of the way.
