Unika want to contribute a good and interesting education, and now the training starts and run in the next 3 years for two new apprentices at Unika in plastic and tools department...
High-level sparring
At Unika we have had the pleasure of having Jeppe as a trainee in internship in the firm from January to April in connection with his education for logistics economist from the Business Academy Dania. To say yes to a trainee gives something to all parties. It gives among other things, increased focus on the tasks in our own house, but it also gives something to the student, to use the concepts from the program in practice.
We are happy that we can fulfill the desire for an internship at Unika, and that we can contribute to the practicality of the education and show what it is like to work in a production company where something new happens every day. We get sparring around the latest in education, concepts, planning, coordination and management of the goods, information and cash flow, including a review of where we are doing well and where we can do better to get the right logistics flow in the business.
We asked Jeppe “What did you experience?”
“I have experienced a company that has welcomed me, and stood by its responsibility by constantly following up on my well-being during the internship. The employees I have worked with have helped me when challenges have arisen in the process.
During my stay, I wore allowed to do many different things. I have had a feeling all along, being on the team. Unika is an exciting company where you can develop and try many theoretical things in practice. I have worked with procurement, production, inventory and sales in connection with my internship, and it has been exciting to work with the value chain and see how it unfolds at Unika.
I got the impression that Unika takes care of their employees and if things need to be discussed the door is always open. It is a nice place to be. I would definitely recommend Unika to my fellow students, and others who might be lucky enough to be allowed to work in the company.”
