Precious seconds

Education plays a crucial role, and therefore Nordic Polymers held a workshop for our plastic makers. Our main focus was to increase production optimization, which will provide increased output on our machines. Although many areas can be optimized in the molding process, it must be done with respect for the customer's requirements, taking account of surface finish and measurement tolerances.

After opening up debate on optimization options and its consequences, it was tested on the machines and the process. Therefore, theory and practice could be compared and the outcome of this was discussed. The workshop led to more optimization opportunities, avoiding redundant seconds while the customer's needs can still be fully satisfied.
