This Friday, Unika opened the gate to their new 600m2 extension and celebrated the dedication with neighbors, coworkers, family and sausage carriages.
The 6 meter tall warehouse is an extension of approx. 500 pallet places, and with the new loading ramp it will be easier to receive and ship goods as well. The project was initiated on May 1st this year, when Unika for a long time has had a desire to expand the machinery. By relocating the warehouse, the small machines will be able to move and make room for new major machines. Over the next few weeks shelves will be set up and filled, but it will hardly be heard from the outside as the building is noise-suppressed with 200mm insulation. The storage lighting is chosen for the environment, as it consists of intelligent light from the LED bulbs. This means that motion sensors turn on the individual lamps, and therefore there are only lights in which it is working.
