Automatic labeling

Unika has just had a labeling machine built. The machine is meant to be mounted on a conveyor belt and it automatically applies printed labels with millimeter accuracy to the produced plastic items.

First of all It was a customers need for a large series production including applying printed labels, that started the project. And next we saw the possibility to release our employees from stress and monotonous work tasks.

The label machine applies the desired label with great accuracy, and can help to make everyday life more varied for the skilled employees in production. The task goes from manual assembly work to quality assurance and machine monitoring and control.

When the label machine comes into operation, the intention is to mount a robot before and one after, so that the whole process becomes fully automatic from the production of the plastic item, to the application of the pre-printed label and to the finished packaging of the items.

The investment can be adapted to different customer tasks and is future-proofed with several accessory options.
