Top COO from Grundfos on a visit and tour!
We write this to express our respect for Grundfos following up on their decisions on a new partnership with Unika
Due to changes in operations at Grundfos, Unika took over the entire Grundfos tool department on 1 May 2021 with over 20 employees and 20 machine tools (a doubling of employees and equipment in the department at Unika). We have expanded and reorganized so that there could be room for the employees, both at the machines, but also in the canteen and the other common facilities. It was the first time that Stéphane Simonetta, Grundfos' Executive Vice Precident of Operation, (operations manager at Grundfos) visited Unika.
Unfortunately, we are not quite finished with the remodeling of the tool department, which has undergone a very major transformation, but the visit was ment to be a follow-up of the strategic partnership, concerning the takeover and relocation of the tool department at Grundfos, signed in February 2021.
During the tour around the factory, surprise could be traced about the company and the processes, especially the robot-controlled processes with automatic vision control, fully automatic packing and accurate counting of the number of approved items are quite unique, and are not found at Grundfos…yet.
Mr Stéphane Simonetta met and talked to several former Grundfos employees about the new workplace and their satisfaction. Full satisfaction was expressed with the new environment handling the move.

Of course, this means a lot that we have succeeded in a big change, and we do look forward to the next visit. Incidentally, the large expansion of Unika also means that we can offer all customers to manufacture very advanced tools in high quality.
